As with a lot of things in my life, Hilarious Henry was created out of boredom and lack of a social life. Back in the day, I didn’t have Twitter or any of this “web 2.0″ crap to keep me busy, and I wasn’t allowed to play SEGA all day either. So, it ended up being just me and a sketchpad. Thus, the first version of Hilarious Henry came into being.

Over the years I’d come back to it and make little comic books (stapled together and everything) with fairly retarded story arcs about alien robots (see: mecha-sonic) and evil cousins bent on revenge for god-knows-what. They all followed some kind of continuity that to this day I don’t remember in the slightest. There was also a girl fox involved, although she was mainly there to be the foil for Henry and be my inaccurate commentary on women in general. It was inaccurate mainly because she had no boobs and always wore a dress.

Quite a few years later, I decided to go back to the character and turn him into a webcomic. This was after I had spent my days reading VG Cats, Diesel Sweeties, Something Positive, and Questionable Content. Their work inspired me to start my own so I set up hosting at comicgenesis and got straight to work doing my comic. Eventually I switched to my own hosting and then went on a hiatus for two years to “find myself” and go to film school.

Now, I’m back, and so is the comic.

Oh. You actually wanted to know about the comic itself…

Hilarious Henry is the ongoing tale of four people living together and the experiences they have during the term of their lease. They’ll deal with furry rock competitions, demons from beyond, alien robots, and a plethora of other oddities that make up the universe. Oh, and there might be some offhanded music comments and romance too.
